To the Woman Watching the True Woman ’25 Livestream

On the other side of my computer monitor is a faded world map I printed out after True Woman ’22. The screenshot is fuzzy, but the paper shows purple dots marking all of the places where women had registered for the conference: sixty-two countries, fifty states.

There isn’t a map for this weekend’s event yet, but can’t you imagine it updating even now in real time, as women prepare to tune in to the livestream tonight from all corners of the globe? Picture little dots representing women in cities all over the world, as they turn on lamps in their living rooms or screens in old church buildings and settle in with open Bibles and expectant hearts.

Friends in my hometown of Houston, Texas, will arrive home from work just in time to open their laptops and begin to worship.

Groups in places like Gambrills, Maryland, will gather in front of a screen in their church activity room and fill the space with their prayers.

Hundreds to thousands more French-, German-, Spanish-, and Portuguese-speaking women will take notes in their heart language as they meet in their home countries and listen to speakers proclaiming the Word of God.

    And then there’s you.

Your dot may be flickering from a quiet apartment or joining the blaze of a brightly lit sanctuary. But no matter where you’re joining from tonight, you’re part of a constellation on a living map, a radiant testimony that God’s Word is alive, His Spirit is moving, and His glory is filling the whole earth.

Five Things to Know about the True Woman ’25 Livestream

As you prepare to join the True Woman ’25 livestream tonight, take a moment to settle in. If you’re hoping to get as much as you can out of this weekend, here are five things you should know.

    1. This isn’t Plan B.

There are countless reasons you might not be in Indianapolis this weekend—maybe travel wasn’t in your budget this year, you couldn’t get time off from work, your kids have fall activities, crowds aren’t your thing, or you wanted to host a group at home. Whatever the reason, the Lord already knows. Your circumstances are not a surprise to Him.

Before time began, He was aware of exactly where you would be this weekend. The situation you’re in right now—the one that’s kept you from stepping foot in the Indiana Convention Center—is the exact setting that God has designed for you to seek Him.

The livestream isn’t a backup option for our team, and it’s not an afterthought for God. So lean in. Take a few minutes to journal about the place you find yourself in today: the circumstances you’re facing, the emotions you’re feeling, what you’re hoping the Lord will do in your heart, and why you’re grateful He’s able to meet you right here

    2. Humility is the most important thing you could wear tonight.

In my opinion, one of the advantages to the livestream is having more freedom to show up in your comfiest clothes (including your pajamas). While the dress code may look a little different for those attending in person, all of us should be showing up tonight clothed with one key trait.

In Colossians, Paul tells the church, “God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved,” to put on humility (Col. 3:12). We often think about that trait in terms of how we relate to others, but look at where it shows up in Isaiah 66:

This is what the LORD says . . .
I will look favorably on this kind of person:
one who is humble, submissive in spirit,
and trembles at my word. (Isaiah 66:1–2)

Will you pause and ask the Lord to clothe your heart with humility tonight? Ask Him to help you receive His Word with an open, teachable, and eager spirit—and then ask Him to help you apply His truth with joyful obedience.

    3. Your prayers could help change lives forever.

If you’re already registered for the livestream, you’ve been prayed for. The Revive Our Hearts team wholeheartedly believes that prayer changes things and that the Lord uses the prayers of His people to prepare hearts, address personal needs, and do what human effort alone never could.

If you were joining up with my local Bible study tonight, you’d likely be asked to take a moment at the beginning of the time to pray: first, for God to work in your own heart, and then for the women sitting on your right and left. If you’re planning to watch the livestream with others tonight, there may be women (church friends, family members, or roommates) physically sitting beside you. Will you pray for God to move in their lives this weekend?

If you’re by yourself, pray in general for those attending in person and for others attending with you online. You can even try to picture these women sitting next to you. Here are some prayer points to focus on:

    • Pray for women attending who don’t yet know Christ to come to a saving faith at this event.
    • Pray against distractions, discouragement, and spiritual attacks that might keep women from fully engaging.
    • Pray for women who are spiritually dry or weary to experience personal revival.
    • Pray for those struggling with doubt, sin, or discouragement to come with hearts ready to experience the Lord’s healing and freedom.
    • Pray for the Lord to answer prayers and work powerfully in hopeless situations.
    • Pray for women to find rich, Christ-centered fellowship with other attendees.
    • Pray for women to walk away with clear next steps in their faith journey.
    • Pray for women to share what they learned with those in their sphere of influence.
    • Pray for the Holy Spirit to bring lasting transformation in marriages and families.
    • Pray for local churches to be strengthened as women walk in obedience.
    • Pray for the Lord to use this event to transform communities and countries.
    • Pray for women to experience freedom, fullness, and fruitfulness in Christ.

“Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20–21)

    4. Your attention can be an offering.

You already know that if you were sitting in the convention center, your posture would be different from the one you’ll be tempted to take while livestreaming from your bedroom. In person, you’re less distracted by children, chores, and the pull to multitask—and it’s a lot less likely you’ll pick up your phone and start randomly scrolling in the middle of a session.

Commit now to treating the livestream sessions with as much intentionality as you can give them. Sing loudly during worship, keep a physical Bible open on your lap so you can read along with all of the verses mentioned, and keep your phone on Do Not Disturb as much as you can.

Let your attention be more than watching: allow it to be an offering back to the Lord. Engage with your eyes, ears, and heart attuned to Him, and know that He’s able to meet with you right where you are.

    5. This weekend won’t end when the livestream does.

You can count on this: what the Lord has planned for True Woman ’25 won’t wrap up with the final session on Saturday morning. All weekend long, as the Lord gently brings conviction or truth from His Word, jot down questions or verse references to come back to later. Consider these your invitation to ongoing transformation in Him.

The work God does in your heart won’t just be for you. As you listen, consider what you could share with others. Be ready to retell the truth of Scripture, talk about teaching points, or share worship moments that impacted you. Keep track of insights you could take from sessions and intentionally put into practice at home, work, or with your community. Be ready to model what you’ve learned, allowing your life to demonstrate the fruit of this weekend.

My prayer is that the Lord will plant all that you learn deep into your heart, using it to encourage, equip, and bless the people around you—shaping your home, strengthening your church, and helping your community experience the truth and grace of Jesus Christ in the days, months, and years to come.

    Let the Weekend Begin
