TRINITY Models (Three in One) - Kids in Ministry International

Trying to explain the Godhead to children, or what we call the “Trinity” can be challenging. So we created these colorful 16 inch images of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit on paper, and then mounted them on light-weight foam core. By using an x-acto knife, and cutting them out, you create models that you can hold or set up on a table for your lessons.

When cutting them out, you can overlap the images noting that the outlines of each image perfectly conforms to the other. This means when you lay them on top of each other they appear as “one.” But when you separate them each can be seen for who they are.

We include a cardboard tripod for one model which you can then lean the other two models against it, keeping the edges flush with the first model.

You can separate each of the God-head, and talk about the role each of them plays in the Trinity (see the curriculum Our Amazing God for 10 out of 17 lessons explain the Trinity in detail).

Please note: Jesus has human skin color, but the Father and Holy Spirit have white or clear “skin” because they are spirits. Jesus became human.
Each of them are holding icons that represent their roles: Father holds the solar system and earth as the Master Designer, Jesus holds the cross and crown of thorns, the Holy Spirit holds the dove, and water and fire.
