True Worship Requires Spiritual Discipline - A Nighttime Prayer

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. – Psalm 100:4–5 (KJV)

Please Pray:

Father,

I enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise. Thank You for Your goodness, Your mercy, Your faithfulness, and Your everlasting love.

Today, I want to go deeper than praise. I want to worship You.

Lord, I surrender my will, my plans, my fears, my disappointments, my worries, and everything I have been carrying. I lay it all at Your feet.

Take the place of priority in my heart. Remove anything that competes with You. Help me to worship You in spirit and in truth with a heart that is completely surrendered.

As I draw closer to You, fill me with Your joy. Give me Your peace. Break every chain that has kept me bound. Help me release what I cannot change and trust You with what I cannot control.

Let my worship become a lifestyle—not merely something I do when I enter a church building, but something I live every day.

King Jesus, You are worthy.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.
