What Does the Bible Say About Being "Chopped"? The Christian Truth on Looksmaxxing, Insecurity, and Ecclesiastes 9

What does the Bible say about being chopped?

Are you chopped? Do you feel doomed?

Do you feel unlovable?

Do you feel like no person would ever look upon you, let alone date you?

The King James Bible says in Ecclesiastes 9:4:

“For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.”

And Ecclesiastes 9:11 says:

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”

Solomon is saying that it doesn't matter if you're attractive or chopped. Time and chance happeneth to them all. A attractive person doesn't have any better chances in life versus someone who is apparently "chopped".

Also, on another note, if you think you're ugly and chopped, Romans 8:28 promises: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

"For he says, “we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” Now when he speaks of “all things,” he mentions even the things that seem painful. For should even tribulation, or poverty, or imprisonment, or famines, or deaths, or anything else whatsoever come upon us, God is able to change all these things into the opposite. For this is quite an instance of His unspeakable power, His making things seemingly painful to be lightsome to us, and turning them into that which is helpful to us. And so he does not say, that “them that love God,” no grievance approacheth, but, that it “works together for good,” that is to say, that He useth the grievous things themselves to make the persons so plotted against approved." - A 4th century Christian

You just need to love God, and to love God, you must first accept His love, which He deposited at Golgotha.

Romans 5:8 says:

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”

You just need to admit that you're a sinner on your way to hell, believe that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again to save you, and finally ask God to save you.

Romans 10:9 says:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

As another Christian put it in the 4th century.

“Necessarily he set forth “those who call upon him.” For God does not give grace indiscriminately, and to those who do not wish it, he does not supply it so much that they do not at least ask and pray to the benefactor. But lest anyone say that many do not call upon the Lord Jesus not because of unbelief and ingratitude but because of ignorance, he shows through what follows that God also took away the excuse of their ignorance, sending evangelists and heralds exhorting and calling them to the request for the gift. Therefore he added what follows.”

“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and unless you save me, I am lost forever. I now come to you, the best way I know how, and ask you to save me. I receive you as my Saviour and trust you to forgive and justify me, and present me without fault before God’s throne in the day of Judgment.”

If you have done that, I have different advice: Go out in nature and take a break from the internet. Most relationships happen through networking.
