When You Are Born Again, You Are Born of Truth - Raising Zion

born of truth

Do you hate lies? Do you abhor lying? Strong words are used against the nature of lying. Hate and Abhor are extreme words.

God hates lying (Proverbs 6:17). Like God, we too must hate the nature of lying.

Satan is the Father of lies (John 8:44). There is no iota of truth in the devil. Since the fall, he has been using his tongue to speak vicious lies, dividing people and organizations. Those who lie are of their father, the devil.

Anyone who loves the truth hates lies. Jesus is the truth. Every word of God is truth. Every word God speaks is truth. Anyone who does not believe the truth believes a lie. What happens when you trust a lie? Death occurs.

A man of God was instructed not to eat or drink in the place where God sent him to perform God’s word. An old prophet lied to him, inviting him home to eat and drink. The old prophet lied, saying an angel of God sent him to call him over to eat and drink. The man of God believed the lie, and his disobedience to God’s word brought him death. (1 Kings 13)

Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Ghost. Instant death occurred.

No lie is of the truth. We are born again, born of truth in Christ.

A lie is a battle already lost. There is only going downwards from there on.

Those who love the truth do not care about anything else but the truth. Every believer knows there is safety in living in the truth of God’s word.

When we love and live the truth, the Heavenly Father takes care of all our needs. When we live outside the truth, the devil gets access and takes over.

Jesus, the living word of God, is the truth, the way and the life.

Love the word of God. Then the Holy Spirit will take care of your every way. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.

An Inspired Challenge for Wives This Father's Day - Today Can Be Different

Consider asking your husband how you can pray for him each day. (If the father of your children doesn’t live with you, for whatever reason, remember to put him on your prayer list too.) Your husband wants nothing more than to succeed, but he probably struggles with issues he’s afraid to admit, even to himself. He may feel insecure about being a dad, especially if he didn’t have the benefit of a good role model. Or maybe he feels more like an understudy because he’s “only” a stepdad.
