YOU FOR A REASON
You know, it’s always easy when you claim to love someone or claim to have a thing for someone. Yeah, it’s no big deal. The big deal is dishing love to ourselves too…
…most of us get caught up in the whole love and relationship brouhaha that we forget to love ourselves. We should understand that we can only love others if we love ourselves.
We’ve all got something we don’t like in our bodies physically, it may be something so trivial and irrelevant to someone else, but to you it’s a mountain that must be taken away. I understand, we’ve been there. Most of us are even there right now.
Some of us have bulgy eyes..
Wide hugs,
Skinny legs,
Some of us even hate our complexion because of the way society makes us see this.
I tell you, this. You are beautiful. Very beautiful. The Bible even says we are wonderfully created, he created you to be you.
So why hate yourself, when your creator doesn’t hate you? Doesn’t make any sense.
God loves you, as flawed as you are. As weak as you seem to be.
Some persons taunt us and makes fun of us because of our flaws and weaknesses, but God accepts you that way.
So, it’s left to you to accept yourself too.
We all have people who act like they’re perfect and don’t have worries in their little lives, they make us wish for their lives. Their perfect worry-free life.
Do you believe there’s something you have, that your neighbor doesn’t have? It’s true. It even happens the other way round.
What we’ve got to do is be content with our lives and accept it from God.
You were made you for a reason. You’re not a mistake. So stand in front of the mirror and love yourself, and appreciate yourself, and be content with your life.
You’re God’s gift to life. You’re here for a reason. May God lead you to your purpose.
There are some of us who hate ourselves because of our past, because of something we’ve done in the past that isn’t very nice.
We blame ourselves. We build walls around ourselves and even transfer the hatred to whoever is trying to bring those walls down.
We believe forgiveness would never come for us.
We believe there’s nothing close to redemption for us.
I want you to release those pent up emotions, let them go.
Christ’s death on the cross means you’ve been forgiven. He died for your past sins, present sins and even future sins.
So get up and shake the guilt away. Let it fall like scales. You are free from ache, if you know you’ve been forgiven.
Get off your bed of guilt and love yourself. There’s no reason for hate. No hate for yourself or anyone.
It’s a process, I know, getting those hurtful scenes and episodes from your mind is hard work. It doesn’t mean you can, set your mind on it and be free.
I love you.
Happy Valentines Day.
