When we pray for healing, the Lord will give us health and strength to overcome whatever pain or illness comes our way.
We can comfort ourselves by looking to God when we are sick or depressed. He will provide peace of mind, body, and spirit for you!

God is always there for you, so it’s essential during prayer that we talk about what hurts us physically. God speaks to the brokenhearted and consoles them. He provides wisdom for those who need it so they may know Him more deeply throughout their earthly life.
A cry for healing can be among our most urgent prayers – we hope that those who are sick or injured will find peace in their suffering and someday find comfort again on earth as they continue on their journey toward heaven.
The Great Physician, Jesus Christ, is always there for us, for healing, when we need Him most.
God is our source for healing and wholeness. Be it physical, spiritual, or emotional healing.
There are many ways we can incorporate scripture into our prayer for healing.
O Lord my God, I cried to you for help,
and you have healed me.

Jesus Christ’s ministry was one long series of miracles that healed people. Sometimes he merely spoke a word, and their illnesses were cured; other times, it took more time for the healing to take effect, but in both situations, there is no doubt about who deserves all credit: Jesus Christ.

A Prayer for Healing – Personal
As I sit here before you, it is hard to imagine what my life would be like if not for the love of God. You have been there through every step that has led me towards where we are today- loved and cared for by someone who wants only good things for me!
I long to hear Your voice and ask for your divine healing.
There are so many things that I don’t understand about life and my time on earth. However, I know that with one word or one touch, you can heal me completely.
Please forgive me for my sins, cleanse the filth from within and begin healing me from the inside out.
When I desperately seek the Your face, You are always there for me, even when I don’t understand your ways or your will for me.
The Lord never leaves or abandons his children in times like these, when we need him most to show humility and love to us so that they can feel loved again- even temporarily.
Father, I can’t offer you promises or deals in exchange for my health. I can only humbly bow before you to tell you my heart’s desire. I simply want to spend as much time on earth as I can to love you, love others, and be a reflection of you.
Lord, be it a miracle to heal me or the intervention of doctors, I trust your will in my life. Regardless of the details, you still perform miracles, and all the praise is for you.
You have the power to heal, and I know that you’re still healing in ways today whether or not you choose to do so on earth or in heaven.
When my faith is weak, you say that it’s enough, and the depth of your love for me knows no bounds. Yet, I know that you hold my heart and life in your hands.
Whatever you desire, Lord. No matter what it is that brings Your Name honor and glory to the world; I will yield all of myself to serving Your Purpose with every breath within me
Whatever you desire, Lord. Whether it is healing or peace of mind, all I ask is that it brings you glory.

Prayer for Healing the Sick
Heavenly Father,
You are my rock in times of weakness and need. I ask that you be with me as illness takes its toll on this body. Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal.
Lord, please send your healing Word to me. Waiving all sickness and infirmity out of my body in the name of Jesus!
Lord, I ask for the strength to turn my weaknesses into compassion and kindness. May all this pain become a source of comfort in others’ lives as well!
May your servant trust you and hope that all will be well, even when things are tough. May I be patient and joyous as I await your touch, knowing that you are’s the one who can heal all ills.
Please restore your child to total health, Father. Remove all doubt and fear from me by the power of your Holy Spirit so that you, Lord, can be glorified through my life.
As you heal and restore me, your servant, Lord, may I always bless and praise you.

Dear Lord,
You know _____________ so much more intimately than I do. You know his/her sickness and the burden they carry. You also know their heart. Father, I ask you to be with my friend as you work in his/her life.
Lord, help your child to see his/her sin and receive forgiveness. Let them know that you are always there for those who need You the most!
Lord, I lift my friend to you just as your Word tells me to pray for healing. I know that you hear this prayer from my heart, which is powerful because of your promise. Thankful for the faith in us both, I trust to heal him but also believe everything will go according to your will.
Lord, I don’t understand your ways, and I don’t know why my friend has to suffer, but I trust in you. Please look with mercy and grace upon my friend going through a difficult time. Give him/her comfort in his/her suffering by being present for them during this challenging moment, ensuring that they do not feel alone. Let them feel your eternal love.
Let him/her know you are there for them. Give him/her strength and encouragement to get through this difficult time. And may you be glorified through this challenging time in their life.

A Prayer for Healing Pain
Heavenly Father, Thank you for your love, mercy, and grace.
I pray that all my discomforts will turn to comforts, and every pain be a blessing in disguise. I pray that my sorrows turn into joy.
As your Word says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” And he “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds”
I trust in you Lord and in you alone to heal me from this pain. Remove it from my body.
I trust, Lord, that this agony and suffering will end, and joy will radiate from me as I read and study Your Word.
