Humility draws the Power of God in this life - Raising GENERATION Zion

Jesus never used his power though He had all the power. On the other hand, we have no power but lust for it for all the wrong reasons.

We do not have the strength to do anything godly. Jesus became a zero so God’s Word could be the hero of His life.

We need to become zero so Jesus can be the hero of our lives. Today, Jesus is the power to do everything godly.

The church is getting overtaken by the lust for worldly power and glory. The love of riches (money) and position (career) continues to lead believers astray.

What power did Jesus subject Himself to on earth?

Jesus subjected Himself to the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead. The same Holy Spirit power is given to us for God to manifest His Word in and through our lives.

3 Ways the power of God manifests in our lives.

  1. Power to love (Romans 5:5): How to love like Jesus? God pours His love into our hearts so that we love like Him. The fruit of the Spirit is an outcome of His power working in us.
  2. The power to preach (Luke 4:18): Anyone can preach. But the Word comes with power only when we believe. The boldness and clarity to preach when God wants to transform lives forever.
  3. Power to heal (Acts 3:1-12): God manifests His power to heal the sick and diseased wherever He sends His servants to preach the gospel. The Word comes with the power to fulfil God’s perfect will.

As we surrender to the Holy Spirit, God manifests His power according to His will. Like Jesus, the power of God keeps us spiritually alive when we continue obediently in His calling.

When does God’s power manifest in a believer’s life? When we walk in humility and lowliness of heart. Jesus reminded us to learn humility and lowliness of heart from Him alone. Not the fake humility displayed by powerful men.

Now is our time. Prepare to meet Jesus. Praise God, and Amen.

Sehnsucht in the Blue Ridge Mountains — Nicole O'Meara

Sehnsucht is hard to put into words, as can be seen in my painfully limited ability to describe what I felt at a vista in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some call it joy. Some called it wistful longing for something you can’t explain. It has been called melancholy and nostalgia. It is all of that, and mo
