I understand trusting isnโ€™t easy.๐Ÿ™ƒ

Wait, you really think trusting is easy?๐Ÿ˜ฒ

How are you doing it, sir/ma? Iโ€™m humble and I want to learn. ๐Ÿ˜…

Sometimes, we want everything fixed and aligned before we can trust, but if everything is fixed and aligned, how is that faith?

Iโ€™ve been caught in this many times.๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Faith sees what isnโ€™t there, thatโ€™s why it can be so hard, because how do you want me to be convinced that everything is working out fine, when all I see in front of me is heartbreaking and jumbled?

How do you just want me to believe and let you handle it without thinking about if it wouldnโ€™t get worse. Like!๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Every area of our lives presents situations where we have to give up everything and just trust.

Trust. Trust. Trust.

We have to trust God with our lives.
We have to trust our spouses.
We have to trust the babysitter.
We have to trust that online vendor.
We have to trust the school system and hospitals.

Sometimes we just trust these people and system without even knowing the strong faith we have in them.

Trusting wasnโ€™t always easy for me, I loved doing things myself and getting the blame for it if things didnโ€™t come out fine. I donโ€™t like blaming others for something I should have done myself.

Learning more about God and realizing that Iโ€™d have to let go and let God handle things for me wasnโ€™t something that was easy for me.

But Iโ€™m gradually releasing everything that makes trusting hard for me and lean unto God. Yay! The Bible talks about the many blessings of trusting God, but today I want to talk about the personal blessings Iโ€™ve gotten from just trusting God.

Iโ€™ll talk about 3 of them, you ready?๐Ÿ˜‰

1. Trusting God gives you peace. The peace is naturally the resultant effect of letting God in and stepping out of the way.

2. Trusting God takes fear away and fills you with confidence. I listened to something a while ago and it said, โ€˜you can never fear anything you have control over.โ€™ The truth in that sentence ehn. See, would you fear when you know you have been given power over this and with faith you can just kick it out? Thatโ€™s how it is with trusting God for me, I take authority over the issue in prayer then I rise in confidence knowing that it is settled. If you are privileged to drop something at the feet of the Most High, then your faith should be leaping for joy. Which brings me to the third one.๐Ÿ‘‡

3. Trusting God fills me with an indescribable joy that could only come from within. This is self explanatory. When I trust, I let go of baggage that represents anxiety, fear and confusion, I give room for the Spirit to stay comfy in my life and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is fullness of joy. I trust and I believe that God heard, Iโ€™m filled with joy that this big God is taking his time to listen to what I have to say.

Weโ€™ve come to the end of todayโ€™s blog post, Iโ€™ll love to know what you think about what Iโ€™ve just shared.

What benefit of trusting God have you experienced personally?
Iโ€™ll love to read from you.

Thank you for dropping by. โค๏ธ
