7 Gifts Every Believer Must Walk In! (Part-2) - Raising Generation Zion

It’s true..!! The Scripture does mention about many other gifts apart from what most of us have generally known. In the previous post, we already saw a few of these gifts, you can find it here just in case! In this post, let’s look at the remaining part of the 7 gifts that every believer must know and walk in!

• Resurrection of Jesus — For a believer, Jesus’ dying and then rising up again from the dead, is a gift from God and also of utmost importance for his spiritual life. There is a song which goes like this — Because he lives, I can face tomorrow, because he lives, all fear is gone…!💖🎶 written by Bill Gaither. True to this song, for a follower of Christ, because the Saviour is still living, he/she is also able to live the Christian Walk! At water baptism, we die to sin and are buried with Him. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans‬ ‭6:4. Hallelujah!
• Holy Spirit as Gift — After the ascension of Jesus, the Comforter/Helper that is, the Holy Spirit was sent to Earth as the promise of the Father. As promised, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon the tarrying 120, as a rushing mighty wind, and filled them all with a fiery anointing. Acts 2:1-4. They all rejoiced in the Lord speaking in new tongues, something the world hadn’t witnessed, ever!! These 120 people were asked by Jesus to wait in the upper chamber in Jerusalem for ten days, and on the tenth day, they would be baptised with the Holy Spirit. They obeyed and received! Acts 5:32. Every time we allow the work of the Holy Spirit in us, He changes us from glory to glory, and help us become like Jesus. 2 Corinthians 3:18. Ask, Seek, Knock if you also wish to receive the anointing. Luke 11:9.
• Gifts of the Holy Spirit — Not only is the Holy Spirit given as a gift to a believer, but also, there are 9 gifts in the Holy Spirit as well. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 mentions clearly about the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit. These spiritual gifts are given to us, to strengthen and establish us in the Lord. God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will. Hebrews‬ ‭2:4‬.
• Ministers of God — Every minister given to you and me for our spiritual growth and edification, are a gift from God. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Ephesians‬ ‭4:8‬. What are these gifts unto men? They are — And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Ephesians‬ ‭4:11‬. Why were they given to the Church by Him? For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Ephesians‬ ‭4:12-13‬ 🙌 The Lord gave them to us so that they may warn every man and teach every man in all wisdoms so that in the end, they may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus! Colossians 1:28.
