7 Troubling States Of The Church In The Last Days - Raising Zion

the church in the last days

The church in the last days is expected to go into a crisis. Jesus clearly revealed how it will be in the end – the days of Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah, etc.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:36-39)

Recently, I got to hear from a woman of God on the 7 troubling states of the church in the last days. These revelations fall in line with what we see among many believers and servants of God today.

7 troubling states of the church in the last days

a) Many saints have forgotten their purpose in life. They have forgotten why they are believers; why God called them into this marvellous light.
b) Do not care to understand the preciousness of the shed blood of Jesus on Calvary
c) They lack love for one another
d) Many are still walking after own lusts of the flesh and eyes
e) Their heart is full of worldliness, bringing it into the house of God. They end up mixing earthly culture with heavenly calling
f) Many are choosing to do their own will rather than seeking God to fulfil His perfect will
g) During trials or temptations, they deny Christ, compromising the word of God

We are in the last days, no doubt. God is raising up His own, replacing old non-practising believers with new ones. Worship the lord in spirit and in truth to be united and found with Jesus as His bride.

May the Lord help us all to live for His glory everyday. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.

Sehnsucht in the Blue Ridge Mountains — Nicole O'Meara

Sehnsucht is hard to put into words, as can be seen in my painfully limited ability to describe what I felt at a vista in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some call it joy. Some called it wistful longing for something you can’t explain. It has been called melancholy and nostalgia. It is all of that, and mo
