Competition is not a part of following Christ. We are all called to be a part of His work, not to compare with others who are on the same Jesus team. Christ keeps pointing us to what matters most – not comparing with others but ridding ourselves of sin. Sin destroys us. Our righteousness is not based on rules, but on Christ’s grace alone. Keep the main thing the main thing. Jesus wants us to eradicate sin in our lives and help others to, also.
