Are You a Reluctant Leader? - A Nighttime Prayer

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Jesus, You are my Guide and the Leader of my life. Help me follow Your example of leadership—You accepted Your Father’s call to come to earth, You obeyed Him in every way, and You surrendered Your will to His. Jesus, You taught Your disciples well and made them strong in Your power. Bless me as well with Your Holy Spirit so that I may listen to Your teaching. Drive away my fears, to make me strong in Your power for the battles ahead. Show me where to lead and when to stand back to watch You work. Give me compassion for those under my care, and let them see only Your glory, not mine. Open the right doors for opportunities to serve You as You prepare me for Your kingdom work. In Your Mighty Name, Amen.
