Becoming New - ANighttime Prayer

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into Him and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. – Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT)

Dear Lord, as the Apostle Paul said about his life: I don't do what I should, and I do what I shouldn't. I'm like that too, but I want to change my life to please You. Please help me understand what You want for me in my life. Open my eyes to see what I need to change. I turn my life over to You. Lead me, guide me, and mold me more and more like Jesus. I'm not perfect, as you know, but I will keep trying over and over again as You make me new. May I reflect more and more of You in my life. In Jesus's name, Amen.
