Close Enough to Feel Comfortable, Too Comfortable to Be Changed - A Nighttime Prayer

“I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” – John 10:10

Please Pray:

Father God, if I am settling for comfort in my faith, show me so that I can surrender to You. Untie me from any ropes that are keeping me tied to the dock of comfort. Give me courage to trust You to guide me into the deep.

Reveal to me where I have become content with routine instead of drawing close to You. Help me to long for Your presence more than my comfort. Teach me to follow You faithfully each day.

I praise You for Your compassionate mercy, generous grace, and the abundant life that You give me through Jesus.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
