Courageous Examples of Faith Conquering Fear - A Nighttime Prayer

“Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. -- 2 Kings 6:16-17

Please Pray:

Dear Jesus, Thank you for promising to always be with me. Help me to be willing to stand down when I need to be still and stand strong when I need to stand firm in the battle in which you have called me to. Please give me wisdom to know the difference and grace in every situation. Please instill in me a sense courage not in my own strength, but in knowing that your power is made perfect in my weakness.  In Your Precious Name, Amen.
