Dear Fear - A Nighttime Prayer

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Heavenly Father,

I am indeed but dust, and when the fearful winds of this unpredictable life swirl around me, I confess there are times I feel I might be blown away. Remind me as Your child nothing could be further from the truth. Remind me that You have not given me a spirit of fear. Remind me that You have filled Your Word with mighty, faithful promises that come straight from Your loving heart. Help me stand firmly on these promises so that any thought of fear is replaced with a spirit of power and love and a mind transformed by and fixated on Your truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
