Death anxiety and fear of Death

Death anxiety and fear of Death

Posted on May 6, 2008

In Acts 23: 12, 13, we read of forty Jews who banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink until they had killed Paul.

That was around A.D. 58. We know from scriptures that Paul lived for at least 4 years 3 months after that Act 24: 27, 28:11 and 28:30). In fact some authorities believe that Paul was killed in AD 64.

So what happened to these forty Jews under oath not to eat or drink till Paul was killed.  Did they go without food and drink for four whole years.

Do not fear their vain cconspiracy. A curse causeless shall not come to pass. Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.

If God be with you, who can be against you? Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of me, whoever assemblies  against you shall fall for your sake says the Lord Amen.
