Luke 9 verse 62
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Genesis 19 verse 26
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
- Lots wife looked back and became a pillar of salt.
- Judas looked back and ended up hanging on a tree.
- David looked back at Bathsheba and withdrew his heart from God and handed it to Satan.
- Jonah looked back and ended up in the belly of the fish.
- Peter looked back and denied Jesus thrice before the cock crows.
- The Israelites looked back and only three out of thousands reached the promised land.
- If you have decided to be a Saint, don’t look back at the pleasures of unbelievers
- If you have decided to be a Saint, don’t look back at the ill-gotten prosperity of unbelievers.
- If you have decided to serve God with all your time, strength, and energy, don’t look back to your worldly friends.
- Don’t look back to revelries and orgies, night parties, wild parties, obscene parties, etc
- If your God has delivered you from drunkenness, don’t look back to beer.
- Don’t look back to sugar daddies.
- Don’t look back to sugar mummies.
- Don’t look back to strange women.
- Don’t look back to your girlfriends.
- Don’t look back to your exes.
- If God has called you to evangelism, don’t spend precious time watching football when you should be winning souls.
- If God has called you to evangelism, don’t look back to the city, when you are supposed to be on the field.
- If God has called you to the role of a Pastor, don’t look back to your secular job.
- If God has called you to serve HIM, don’t look back to worldliness.
- If God has called you to the ministry of help, don’t look back to the spirit of stinginess.
- If God is taking you to Canaan land, don’t look back to Egypt.
- If God has provided milk and honey before you, don’t miss your former poverty.
- If God has called you to holiness, don’t look back to sin.
