Embracing the Light - A Nighttime Prayer

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12

Please Pray:

Heavenly Father,

Draw us from the shadows of our sin into the light of Your holiness. Give us courage to confront our sin for what it is, bring it to You in honest confession, and receive the bondage-breaking forgiveness we so desperately need. Remind us that our guilt and shame have “been nailed to the Cross and we bear it no more.” Hallelujah!

Replace our weakness with Your strength and give us purpose and motivation to press on in the kingdom work You have for us.

In Your Holy Name, Amen.
