Encouragement Happens in a Thousand Ways - EncouragementMama.com

Hello Sisters in Christ,

Of all the ways you’ve been encouraged in life, what has meant most to you?

Has it been genuine words of affirmation, that made you feel valued and appreciated?

Has it been an unexpected act of service that took the burden off your shoulders and afforded you some much-needed rest?

Has it been precious time spent with a close friend or family member that exceeded other times by being oh, so sweet and memorable?

You know, encouragement happens in a thousand ways. And there are at least a thousand ways God encourages us from His word. (Probably a hundred thousand ways!)

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” ~Isaiah 12:2

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ~Isaiah 41:10

The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. ~Exodus 15:2

For the Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory. ~Deuteronomy 20:4

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. ~Psalm 73:26

I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. ~John 16:33

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth. ~2 Timothy 4:17

Sisters, how I wish I could list every verse that lifts our heads from sorrow and speaks pure joy into our hearts. Every verse that sparks life and motivation in the midst of depression. Every verse that removes clouds of doubt and worry and offers clarity. And every verse that points us to the perfect love of the Savior — love that never fails.

No matter where you are in this moment, God is speaking words of encouragement over you. His Spirit is covering you with strength and peace. His presence is there to offer exactly what you need here and now.

Encouragement happens in a thousand ways. Thank You, Lord.
