Luke 12 vs 15

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Luke 12:15 And He said to them, "Watch out! Guard yourselves against every form of greed, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."

  1. Most people praying for a breakthrough often interpret it as financial prosperity.
  2. Jesus makes us realise that the indication of your success in life is not the amount of riches you have.
  3. Jesus said that the accumulation of riches is not a sign of achievement.
  4. Jesus said anyone who accumulates riches and trusts his financial savings is a fool.
  5. Most people with excess wealth that we admire and give various titles are fools if they put their trust in their wealth.
  6. Salvation is the primary indication of success and not wealth.
