Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children. – Ephesians 5:1
Please Pray:
I lift up the fathers, grandfathers, and other men you have called to those roles. They need Your guidance. Help them recognize the instruction of their Heavenly Father as they lead their young ones. Please give them an understanding of the importance of their everyday actions, and a deep and lasting desire to reflect You in everything they do. When the Enemy attempts to distract, discourage, or derail their best efforts, do battle on their behalf. Draw them to Your Word and to Your example. Love them loudly so in turn they might spill that love onto their children. Give them joy and satisfaction in their role as a father that surpasses anything the world has to offer. And finally, open the eyes of their children to see glimpses of their Heavenly Father in their earthly dads, so that the path that leads them to You might be even clearer. In Your Holy Name, Amen.
