Guard Your Gates - Fraud or Freedom: A Nighttime Prayer

For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord - who is the Spirit - makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image. -- 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NLT)

Please Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

You alone are the One True Holy Living God - righteous and almighty. We praise Your Holy Name and lift You up!

We come before You with the knowledge that many are still searching for You. We see the struggles in our culture, even with so much abundance. Many people, like King Solomon, embrace the pagan unholy idols of this world, and they turn away from You and Your Perfect Truth. Help us to walk in Your Holy Freedom, as we understand and choose wisely the gates that we are meant to open. Help us to remove the darkness of the fraudulent gates as we pull the evil veil away from our eyes. Help us to tightly shut the evil gates that are not our portion or concern. Cast out the unholy cultural dissonance from our ears. Remove the fake promises of an evil lifestyle far away from us, O God. Cleanse us from the soiled veil and point us always to alignment with You and Your Holy Word. All of these things we ask and pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
