Harvest Ministries 2023 Recap

What word comes to mind when you think about 2023? For me, it’s a simple one: “go.” When we learn the all-encompassing truth of the gospel, there’s a response . . . and that response is to put faith into action! As messengers of the gospel, we’ve been entrusted with so much. And God has worked in some incredible, mighty ways in 2023 to bring His life-changing presence to many through Harvest Ministries.

2023 Recap

To start, we had the February release of Jesus Revolution. This film inspired so many to act on their faith, experience a personal revival, and come to Christ. Not to mention the message it sent: We want faith films in theaters! And they can be a success.

You can read more about how this film surpassed expectations here.

In the aftermath of the film, we were able to simulcast our live Harvest Crusade—where over 230,000 attended in person and online, and 6,794 people responded to the gospel invitation.

And as we recreated that powerful and historic baptism from Jesus Revolution, 4,500 more people came to Pirate’s Cove to get baptized in just one day—becoming the biggest water baptism in American history!

 But God wasn’t done!

Through television, radio, and digital outreaches, an estimated 1 billion people were reached with the Good News of the gospel. We also saw more than 70,000 professions of faith—and sent out 60,000 Bibles to friends across the country.

After all this, we celebrated 50 years of Harvest Ministries. 50 years of proclaiming the gospel not only in our backyard, but around the world. Throughout these years, we have seen a total of 1,000,000 people make a commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

To God be the glory. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for year 51 as we keep “going.”

    Who are You Becoming?

Every decision we make shapes who we are and who we’re becoming. The new year is a perfect time to take inventory of our choices and habits. Some questions to ask yourself could be: How did I spend my time last year? How did I use my money? What kind of content did I consume—what did I read, watch, or listen to? Maybe you thought you were actively pursuing Jesus this past year, but when you reflect on these questions, you realize you lost sight of him in the busyness and messiness of life.If thi

The Emotional Toll of Abortions on Fathers - Today Can Be Different

We often focus on those who have been victims of abortion – innocent babies, of course, and their mothers. But we rarely hear about how this tragedy affects dads. These “forgotten fathers” often bottle up their emotions, including grief, depression, anger and guilt – all of which can escalate to self-destructive behavior if they don’t seek counseling.
