Heart + Mouth Bible Study | The Bible Exclusively Teaches Vocalization for Salvation:
This is the eighth in a series of studies of the Bible on how the Bible exclusively teaches vocalization for salvation, and the Bible is right or you are wrong.
Big shout out to the Bible translators for doing this! Absolutely used by God.
Deuteronomy 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
The mouth and heart are interlinked.
1 Samuel 2:1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
The internal and external are always clarified in the Bible!
Job 22:22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
Not related.
Job 31:27 And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
Not related.
Psalms 17:3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
Not related.
Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Look, the words of his mouth are connected to the meditation of his heart.
Psalms 55:21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
The Bible does a great job at debunking the idea that we teach repeating a prayer is what saves a soul.
The Bible rightfully teachs that you have to believe and then confess to receive.
Proverbs 15:14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
Not pertinent.
Proverbs 15:28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
"You may notice the Bible contrasts the heart and the mouth, why?
Easy. The righteous studieth to answer, they don't immediately vocally answer (Pro 10:21, Pro 18:13). But the wicked don't wait.
This is showing the heart and mouth are interlinked.
Proverbs 16:23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
The heart and mouth are two interlinked organs.
Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
"Solomon continues in this belief. The heart and the physical mouth are interlinked. In fact, Solomon almost writes a pre-proto Romans 10:10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The man's heart has a vow and he utters verbally praying to God." - 4th study.
Isaiah 29:13 ¶ Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
The Bible proves that a sinner's prayer is with GENUINE BELIEF. Not just repeating a prayer.
Thank you God for your Bible being so clear!
Jeremiah 9:8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
Again, showing a person has to mean what they believe when they call upon God.
Ezekiel 33:31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
You have to believe and receive by confessing! Not just confessing without faith. Though, I'm not sure there's a lot of people confessing (and I don't mean professing) without faith.
Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
The heart and mouth are interlinked.
Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
See cross reference to Isaiah 29:13.
Christ teaches the doctrine of a confession needing faith.
Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Another good verse showing the usage of out.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Amen, the Lord really knows what he's talking about here. It's like he's GOD.
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
See previous note on Deut 30:14. The heart and mouth are two interlinked organs.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
It is not an internal heart which confesses. It is not an internal heart which calls. It is vocal, with THY MOUTH.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Mouth. Any and all references in the Bible always clarified the internal speaking of the heart and the outward external speaking AND THIS IS external.
2 Corinthians 6:11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
