How To Hope Beyond Hope? - Raising Zion

What is hope beyond hope? How can we receive such hope?

Only the love of God can give us such a wonderful hope. When we are completely hopeless and helpless, we have The Loving Heavenly Father to turn to for mercy and strength in time of need. As children of God, even in our hopelessness there is a boldness provided by grace before the Father.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

Hoping beyond hope

God called Abraham when he was hopeless. God promised to give Abraham a child when he was hopeless. Sarah laughed at the fact of bearing a child during her old age, not realising it was God who had given His Word.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; (Romans 4:20)

Abraham hoped beyond hope by relying on the promises of God (Romans 4:18). He believed in the words of God, and in his implicit obedience to God’s word, HE became the Father of many nations.

Joseph restarted his life from a pit to becoming second to only Pharoah. He stayed faithful till God raised him up to be a standard for all of Israel. He hoped till the end, and God exalted him in time. Repeated false actions and accusations against him failed at the end because He believed God was taking care of him no matter what trial he was going through.

Do you feel hopeless as a child of God? If you think all is lost in this journey of life, along the way, fear not. A lamb was slain whose blood washes our sins away even today. Jesus, our Saviour, the lamb of God is our only and best hope.

Paul sets the direction for all New Testament believers.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)

Come to Jesus. Abound in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Maranatha , praise God and amen.

An Inspired Challenge for Wives This Father's Day - Today Can Be Different

Consider asking your husband how you can pray for him each day. (If the father of your children doesn’t live with you, for whatever reason, remember to put him on your prayer list too.) Your husband wants nothing more than to succeed, but he probably struggles with issues he’s afraid to admit, even to himself. He may feel insecure about being a dad, especially if he didn’t have the benefit of a good role model. Or maybe he feels more like an understudy because he’s “only” a stepdad.
