How To Hope In God Everyday? - Raising Zion

God’s love produces hope that is steadfast (1 Corinthians 13:7). When we rest in Him, our hope abounds, accompanied by a fulfilling joy and peace.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 15:13)

Love strengthens us when we hope in God for the things we need in life, and beyond. God who knows our needs better than ourselves, gives us more than we can ask or think when we lean on Him. It is the Spirit of God that sheds love in our hearts to rest in God for things to come.

The worldly have no hope beyond death; only the godly do. Jesus encourages us to wait in Him for all things, to seek the things above and not of the earth.

Hope thrives on seeking Jesus alone

We are seekers of the riches of God, focused on everlasting life. When we live for God each day, He provides all our needs for heaven and earth.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:1-3)

Unlike the worldly, our hope is to grow in the spiritual blessings we are blessed with, we are created in (Ephesians 4:24). When we walk in the holiness and righteousness we are created in, we grow.

Rest in God who prepares us for a life everlasting. Jesus is coming soon, praise God and amen.
