How To Live By Faith In A World Full Of Fear? - Raising Zion

To live by faith is to believe without seeing (Hebrews 11:1); believe without doubting (James 1:8) and trusting God completely. Our trust is not based on human understanding but one that comes from above.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)

To live by faith, you need to live in Christ

Faith is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8) ; Jesus who sits on the right hand of God is the faith we’ve received to hold onto so we can be seated with Him forever.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

Most believers fail to enjoy God because they do not believe that He is (Hebrews 11:3). In your prayers and fellowship, how committed are you in sincere surrender? When loving Jesus becomes a routine then it’s trouble spiritually.

When we take the presence of God lightly, our understanding of His way in our life will be bleak. Never fully allowing us to enjoy Him and truly trust Him in times of trouble or temptation.

Doubt is an enemy that makes every attempt possible to hinder full belief. It takes diligent meditation of God’s immaculate word to overcome doubt.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. (James 1:5-8)

May God help us all to overcome every doubt as we hold onto the faith we received in Jesus. Praise God and Amen!

An Inspired Challenge for Wives This Father's Day - Today Can Be Different

Consider asking your husband how you can pray for him each day. (If the father of your children doesn’t live with you, for whatever reason, remember to put him on your prayer list too.) Your husband wants nothing more than to succeed, but he probably struggles with issues he’s afraid to admit, even to himself. He may feel insecure about being a dad, especially if he didn’t have the benefit of a good role model. Or maybe he feels more like an understudy because he’s “only” a stepdad.
