INTERNAL vs EXTERNAL TRUTH
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)
I don’t know about you but I AM TIRED of being displaying two faces. On the outside, everything appears to be fine but on the inside am bleeding internally and it HURTS!
You see where I am as a (Born-again) Christian, the external manifestation of Christianity versus the internal work of Jesus Christ is based on what I allowed people to see. Over the years in church, I have learned to put on a mask hiding away the true condition on how I really AM, but most importantly of WHO I am.
I don’t know about you but trying to be perfect, is HARD WORK. Trying to please people is EXHAUSTING and trying to impress people is TAXING.
At the beginning of 2018 the Lord told me to be in a CLEAR audible voice, “then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” If I ever wanted to be free, I knew in my hearts of hearts it was time to deal with ‘the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me GOD’.
I was broken without realizing it because I was putting on a façade that everything was okay when truly it wasn’t. After the Lord spoke to me, I knew it was time to acknowledge and accept that it’s okay to be down, it’s okay to be fed up, it’s okay to be vex, heck ITS OKAY just to be…
Am on a personal journey of metamorphosis; am being gruesomely transformed into a beautiful butterfly. That was given to me in prophecy from a dear sister friend of mine.
I don’t know about you but I am on a journey of (finally) allowing God to transform me to be the person whom He wants me to be. I no longer want to live a lie but to finally walk in my TRUTH, internally and externally.
