It’s the small things in life

    Good day beautiful people

I hope that this post meets you well? I also hope that everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Christ and enjoyed their new years.

May this write up be of encouragement to you, and be a reminder that you’re greatly loved by God. Today’s post has been inspired by Genesis 27:27.

Genesis 27:27 ~ So Jacob went over and kissed him. And when Isaac caught the smell of his clothes, he was finally convinced, and he blessed his son. He said, “Ah! The smell of my son is like the smell of the outdoors, which the LORD has blessed!

When reading the above passage I did think to myself that it’s a wonderful thing for a parent to acknowledge the minuscule details about their child’s life, down to knowing how their child smells!

I then began to ponder over the love of God for humanity and how intimately God knows  us, down to knowing the numbers of hairs on our head.

Luke 12:7 ~ And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

Always remember that you’re valuable to God even when you don’t feel like it. Even when your emotions tell you otherwise don’t believe the lie that you’re useless, you were put on this planet for a reason and have a purpose, you have something valuable to give to those around you. You were created for God’s pleasure, and one can please/honour God through living a life of obedience.

Revelations 4:11 ~ “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

    God bless and take care

Simply a young woman striving to encourage women of God, whilst trying to spread the gospel to a mass majority of ladies all over the world. I am an armature with regards to blogs, but with more time and by God’s grace I shall improve lol. I want every single female on earth to know how much she is loved by God (John 3:16)! Please feel free to contact me via email for encouragement, advise or prayer (I am not a qualified counsellor, or a pastor, but I believe as a young woman I will be able to relate with SOME of the things other women around the world are going through). <<< As of Feb 2019 I completed my Counselling level 3 diploma Praise God 💃🏾. I intend to help others not in my own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Do You Feel Accepted or Rejected?

I went to bed, pulled the covers over my head, and had a big ole pity party. Once again, I had been rejected…come in second place…told I wasn’t quite what “they” were looking for. The scarlet letter loomed large. It wasn’t an A like Hester Prynne’s in Nathaniel Hawthorne’s book I had read in high school, but a big fat R that I chose to wear when life turned ugly. Read more...

        Sleeping and Waiting

Sleep is crucial to our health. It’s our body’s time to restore itself and make sure we’re ready for the day ahead! Waiting, in a way, is like the “sleep” portion of our faith. While we wait, God works. And imagine all the incredible work He’s doing!
