Praying Scripture— A Pet Prayer

Scripture

“for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine. “

Psalm 50:10-11— NIV

And

“Then God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures according to their kind: livestock and crawling things and animals of the earth according to their kind”; and it was so. God made the animals of the earth according to their kind, and the livestock according to their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.”

Genesis 1:24-25— NASB

And

“He gives food to every creature. His love endures forever.”

Psalm 136:25— NIV

Pray

Dear Father, Thank you for my pet(s); and the love, joy, and sunshine she (or he) brings to my life. Please bless her (or him) because her furry life comes from you; please let my loving care reflect your loving character. Your love endures forever.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
