Praying Scripture— Birthdays

Scripture

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

Numbers 6:24-26— NIV

And

“Every good and perfect gift is from God. This kind of gift comes down from the Father who created the heavenly lights. These lights create shadows that move. But the Father does not change like these shadows.”

James 1:17— NI(R)V

And

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

Psalm 91:11— NIV

— These are popular verses among many that you can write in a birthday card too.

Pray

Father God, today is {insert friend or family member’s name here} birthday. I pray that you bless and keep them throughout the year. I ask that you shine your face upon them. May they remember that you go before them. May they find comfort in knowing that you tell your angels to guard them in whatever they do. I pray for their health and encourage them to see that you are omnipresent and never changing. May they have year-round joy wrapped in your warm sunshiny love.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
