Praying Scripture— Family

Scripture

“Grandchildren are the crowning glory and ultimate delight of old age, and parents are the pride of their children.”

Proverbs 17:6— VOICE

And

“A friend loves at all times, and a relative is born to help in adversity.”

Proverbs 17:17— NET

And

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

Psalm 133:1— NIV

Pray

Lord, thank You for the gift of family! Show me how I can support and protect them during difficult times. Help me to be humble enough to lean into them when I need grace. I love my family. But I release them into Your care. You see us with our imperfections and sins, and You love us just the same. Give me wisdom and grace to hold my family together in unity.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen
