Progressive Christian Twitter Tries to Cancel Matthew West Over Modesty Video—The Alisa Childers Podcast #112

Alisa, I know you don't like to name names when you don't have to and I respect that. I was intrigued by the comments made on this episode regarding Relevant Magazine/Podcast, etc. I've been a long time listener to their podcast and after beginning to listen to your podcast and learning so much I have begun to notice a circle of "names" that belong to Traditional/Orthodox Christianity and "names" that belong to progressive "christianity". I traced a couple of "that's-not-the-gospel-or-orthodox Christianity" books/authors I'd read back to "recommended by Relevant" and began to be concerned. I read their "statement of faith" ("about us"/"what we believe"). I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they're covering "all streams". I've done a search on their site for "progressive christianity" and found nothing, which I do find odd. I know they laugh at young earthers, but I'm extending grace there. I know they poke fun at Rob Bell, so I was hoping that was a "good sign". I'm hanging on because of Jamie Ivey's presence on the podcast. I've read about her church and I've seen her teach on a Jennie Allen's IF Bible study. You've got me listening so critically to everything (which is a good thing!)….worship song lyrics, sermons, books, etc. Please share what you can if I'm missing any more red flags concerning Relevant. (I would've done this in a private message, but not sure how to, sorry.) I'll just directly email Relevant as well and see what kind of response I get. Thank you so much for your work! I hope to do my part to spread the Truth-Good News-Biblical worldview as well. Thank you!
