Restoring the Crown - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
Children's children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their father. -- Proverbs 17:6 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are so lost and far from your truth as family, as parents, as mothers and fathers. Please help us. Turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, not just in our nation, but all over this world, and even more, turn the hearts of the children back to the fathers. Guide us into Your Holy and perfect truth. Open doors for fathers to hear Your voice and re-align with You. Help fathers to love and lead their families in Your strength. Transform our culture to restore them as fathers, to remind them they are righteously male, and mothers are righteously female, as You created them. Teach them to follow and align with You as loving parents with wholesome, loving and obedient families. Help us to know and follow Your perfect will and Your Holy plans for all parents and families everywhere. And especially for fathers, restore the crown of love and the power and authority for family leadership to Your godly fathers. All of these things we ask in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
