The Joy of Christmas - A Nighttime Prayer

“And the angel said to them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord." -- Luke 2:10–11

Please Pray:

Lord, we thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to redeem us back to you. We thank You that many years ago, You took on human flesh and dwelt with us to show us the way back of salvation. Thank You for the joy and peace which comes with knowing that we have a savior. Thank you for this time of year when we can stop to reflect on Your birth and what it meant for all mankind. Help us to have peace and joy in this season as we focus not on the presents or the festivities, but remember to praise and thank You for coming to earth to save our souls. Bless everyone and help us to continue to share the love of Jesus Christ with the world. In Your Mighty Name, Amen
