The Joy of Perseverance - A Nighttime Prayer

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Please Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me like You do. Your love is so great, You came to earth in human form to pay the price for me so I can live with You forever. Until the day You take me to heaven, I know You have a purpose for me here. I want to persevere until that day, living well as Your child. Will You please strengthen me today to run well the race You have for me? Thank You for Your joy which is mine because of Jesus and thank You for the joy that waits for me in eternity. Let Your joy be my strength today and glorify Yourself in me. Thank You, Abba. I love You. Amen.
