The Voices…

It’s okay to feel guilty, stupid and maybe left out when you indulge in what God doesn’t approve.

Then, you sit for hours brooding. A secret? When you think you’re sitting alone brooding, well, you’re not actually alone. You’re surrounded by voices. The voice that condemns you. That voice that reminds you about the number of times you’ve done this same thing, it doesn’t make sense asking for forgiveness from your Father. The voice that suddenly makes you feel like you’re out of the good book God is with.

This voice.
That voice.
Hating..
Condemning..
Lying..
Pushing you into hating yourself…
Spewing nonsense.

And you listen, well you listen, because you feel it’s just natural for those voices to be there.
No, men and brethren, those voices can be heard because you’re in the mood for them to minister to you, and because the devil has never loved you, even for a second, he’ll send his cohorts to you. And you know that they wouldn’t preach forgiveness or second chances to you, they’ll tell you how you’re not a Christian anymore because you’ve made that mistake, they’ll tell you how this God thing is not for you, because, unlike others, you keep going back.

But you see, these voices don’t have to tell you about Your Father. They don’t have to be the one to judge whether you’ll be accepted or not.
Haven’t you thought about the fact that this is between YOU AND YOUR FATHER.?
God doesn’t even listen to them, He waits for your voice no matter what. He’ll be ready to listen, again. Over and over again. Trust me, this love from God is weakening. It makes my bones go numb. God loves. He didn’t sacrifice that much to let you walk away as a trophy in the hands of the devil. He wants you.

Remind those voices that it’s between YOU AND YOUR FATHER. Don’t nurture them.
This body our Spirit live in, survive and triumph when we feed the Spirit and starve the flesh. Our body succumbs at the end if we’re persistent in ridding it of things that makes us fall, sin and lose our fellowship with God. Our body eventually bends to the Spirit, but it’s a process. I’ve never seen it happen in a day before. It takes stages. God is willing to help us walk in the Spirit and live in the Spirit too. But these things come with an understanding and knowledge of God’s Word.
Even while we’re growing in these things, we fall, we get weak, we get tired. It’s a process. As a Child of God, the Holy Spirit is still working in our lives burning and setting things on fire. We don’t walk into perfection the moment the Holy Spirit start its work in our lives, we could fall along the way, we’d probably make a few mistakes. It doesn’t change the fact that you’re a child of God.

You don’t step out of line entirely when you fall once, not even when you slip and fall more than once.
It doesn’t matter the sacrifice it takes you to get back in line, you’ll have to return!
We have the Grace of God to keep pushing.
We’ll have to constantly seek for help at the throne of Grace too.
