I hope and pray that this post finds you well?
UPDATE…I decided to create a new category on the CLAGOH site titled ‘godly encouragement inspired from a WhatsApp status’. This is because I felt the urge to be more proactive within the blogging sphere… Life has been busy (I got married 🙂…THANKS BE TO GOD), and for a while now the conviction to hurry back to doing what I love has increasingly become stronger. This brief break has reminded me of how much I enjoy to encourage others through writing as well as speaking. Also, I got some cheering on from contacts who found elements of joy in reading my apparent inspirational WhatsApp statues. So, I thought if I can post frequently on WhatsApp I can screenshot the occasional post and write up a short piece to encourage those outside of my WhatsApp contact list. [Side-note: The write ups in this section of the site will be fairly short and sweet, simply imagine a quote that has been briefly, very briefly expanded on]. Thanks for patiently reading and without further ado I shall jump straight into today’s topic, which I pray will be a blessing to all who read.
The timelines we set for ourselves can be self-destructive every now and again. We must remember that God makes everything beautiful in His own time. Let us not allow misery to hold us captive because we’re following timelines which have not been set for us by God, but have been established by society.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Don’t be so harsh on yourself, enjoy your current blessings and believe that God is good and so is the future He has for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
