We Know the Truth: Has It Set You Free? - A Nighttime Prayer

“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8:31-32 (NIV)

Please Pray:

Dear Jesus, too often we exchange the truth of your word for mere lies. It’s easy to get bogged down in slavery to things that seem enticing, but really only leave us empty inside. Lord, your truth alone can set us free, and we ask in boldness for that freedom today. No matter if we’re struggling with addictions, thoughts, patterns, or life’s messy circumstances, show us how we can be set free. Place your truth deep in our hearts so that it becomes a part of our every being. Help us to replace the lies with your truth, and receive a freedom so much richer than anything this world could ever offer. We love and thank You, Lord. Amen.
