We Must Forgive Ourselves - A Nighttime Prayer

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. -- Ephesians 1:7 (NIV)

Please Pray:

Heavenly Father, please forgive me for not forgiving myself. Sometimes, I feel like I have everything figured out and then find myself in sinful situations in the present which opens the door to things I have done in the past that I am not proud of. Help me to find the joy and hope that I need to keep on going to feel good about myself. Deliver me from my self-induced weariness and help me to forgive others who have wounded me. I am far from perfect but I keep on trying to be more like You. For that I am truly thankful that You love me despite my flaws and stubbornness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
