What are these suicidal thoughts? - Raising Zion
Lies masked in truth.
“It’s over, you can’t live this life anymore. You are all alone.”
Truth = you cannot live this life alone.
A blatant, horrible lie = you are alone.
A person who harbours suicidal thoughts is led to believe that no one can help him. He believes or is convinced, no one is there for him. No one cares for him.
Judas came to a point of no return in his life, after what he had done to Jesus. That’s exactly how these wicked spirits of suicide convince the hopeless.
Jesus said He is the bread of life and living water. Those who come to Him will never hunger or thirst again.
For anyone who is struggling today, reading this short post. Come to Jesus. Choose to know Him and watch Him change your life.
It’s true we cannot live alone, we weren’t supposed to in the first place. It was God Himself who desired that we are a help to each other. What God decides, never changes. Heaven and earth may pass away, but His Word never fails.
If today, you feel, no one is there for you, believe the voice of God calling out that even if father or mother forsakes a child, God will never forsake you.
Call out to Jesus, He will come – “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” (John 14:18)
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10)
