Worshiping God - Here, There, and Everywhere -- Nighttime Prayer

“They (the seraphim) were calling to one another: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” – Isaiah 6:3

Please Pray:

Dear Lord, we worship You and praise You and bless Your holy name. We marvel at Your creation–from bees to seas. You have thought of everything we need to live a satisfying life. 

Most of all we thank You for sending Your Son into the world to teach us and finally to die to take the punishment we deserve for our wrongdoings. We marvel at Your salvation. 

Finally, we thank You for sending your Holy Spirit to inspire us to worship You as we see Your hand at work in our everyday world. Thank You, our wonderful holy God, for loving us and blessing us each and every day of our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    A former teacher and director of Christian education, Shirley Brosius is the author of Sisterhood of Faith: 365 Life-Changing Stories about Women Who Made a Difference and coauthor of Turning Guilt Trips into Joy Rides. She and her husband Bill enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles and watching “Jeopardy.” They have two married sons, five young-adult grandchildren and a daughter waiting in heaven.
