Blessed with Excellence

TODAY’S BLESSING: GENESIS 49:20

“Asher’s food will be rich;
he will provide delicacies fit for a king.

~Genesis 49:20, New International Version

From the seed (your idea, your concept),

to the nutrients in the soil (the environment of your creativity),

to the watering (the resources keeping the dream alive),

to the harvest (the fruit of your labor),

to the sorting and sifting (navigating best use),

to the preparation (making ready for human consumption),

to the seasoning (adding your uniqueness, your flavor),

to the taste (testing it’s ability to satisfy),

to the presentation (crafting your platform)

and to the table upon which you place your offering…

God is establishing the work of your hands.

Your foods are rich.

Your offerings, your work, your efforts are delicacies intricate in texture and structure.

You are excellence.

My first writing of today’s blessing had a lot of will and will be as in the scripture. But you, I, and the generations to come are the revelation of Asher’s blessing that began in the very land itself.

Excellence is a dirty but divine work.

The dirt under your fingernails represents your commitment to quality.

Child of God, let’s go to work.

Master, from the seed of your vision to the table upon which it’s fruit is consumed, bless us with absolute excellence. Release your Master Plan, every provision, the gift of people, the power of your Spirit, our second, third, fourth wind, oh Lord. Release supernatural clarity of thought and simplicity of strategy. Make the delicacies we craft with our hands, the offerings of our hearts be not only palatable but so unique that people crave what you have given us.

We. Walk. In. Your. Excellence.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The blood of Jesus has ingrafted all who believe into the coverage and blessings of God. Join me as we look at how the prophetic utterances of Jacob upon his sons in Genesis 49 speak life into our dreams and aspirations today!
