I’ve come across people who after seeing the topic we’re currently sharing stories and experiences on, asked me why Christians would have to go through heartbreak.

I mean, aren’t we supposed to be walking around with perfect lives? Perfect husband in a perfect home, perfect kids with decent traits and attitude.

And oh, perfect neighbours too. Heh.

These are all possible in Christ, it’s possible to get in right in life and that’s because you’re doing right by God.

What happens if you’re led by your flesh and you become biased? Then you judge wrongly and let your emotions override God’s judgement and Will.

Do you think God’s blessings will come when you’re walking in disobedience?

We are not immune to the pain of heartbreak.

Every single day we make a decision, and take conscious efforts to die in the flesh, every day.

Yup. We decide every day.

It would be different if we just had to live by the Spirit all day, without having to fight against the flesh.

But no, these two war against each other.

There is light in Christ, and with that light comes revelation, including knowing what you need to know about who to get married to, business, ministry, kids, etc.

The Bible tells us that the Spirit reveals to us all that God has freely given to us.

Of course, God has provided help on how to win. Right there in His Word.

And we fall if we get distracted or try to compromise even a tiny bit.

So, yes, Christians get their hearts broken too.

Situations make us feel heartbroken.
Failed relationships make us feel heartbroken.
Failed projects make us feel heartbroken.

And the aim of this topic we’re currently writing on, is not so we can just read and say, β€˜Oh, so these things happen?’

No, the aim is that we grow together.

We learn from others and get encouraged by others.

If you see or read the proof that God could help someone through this, then you can be more confident that God wouldn’t let you be alone.

That is the purpose.

So, we might be on this topic for a few more days before the release of another because some growing Christians offered to share their stories. God bless them.

If you’ve got a story to also share regarding this, do reach out to us and we would make sure the sharing process isn’t stressful for you.

Thank you, and God bless you always.
