A Novel Approach to Marriage - A Nighttime Prayer

My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. – Psalm 45:1

Please Pray:

Jesus, You are the source of all love. How I praise You for the ways You are teaching and guiding me to be more loving in all my relationships, especially when it’s tough. Let me look to You in my commitment to marriage and in the daily life of loving and serving a fellow believer. Dwell with us in our home, and keep our marriage pure. Make me aware of Your presence with us, when life’s trials and conflicts threaten to separate us. Teach me how to love sacrificially, as You loved me in going to the cross for my salvation. Please remind both of us to be good servants to each other, looking to our spouse’s needs before our own. Be our Rock and Refuge, protecting us from attacks and keeping us safe in Your fold. And grant us true joy in true love for each other, even as You have dearly loved us. In Your glorious Name, Amen.
