Facing Our Everyday Dragons - A Nighttime Prayer

So, the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. – Revelation 12:9 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Holy Jesus Christ—my Savior and Fearless Warrior—I worship You as my Redeemer and Protector. By Your sacrificial death on the cross and Your love for me, I can come boldly before Your throne and plead for Your help. You have claimed me as Your own, and there is nothing Satan can do to take me out of Your powerful hands. When I face daily trials and challenges, I have peace knowing that You can guard me from the slings and arrows of the devil. Have mercy upon me when I fall prey to Satan’s wiles, and forgive me for not trusting in You. You are the Captain of my soul, and You have called me to battle alongside my Christian brothers and sisters in Your spiritual army. Give me the courage to rebuke Satan in Your name. Be my Rock, my Sword, my Shield in all conflicts, and let me be the channel of Your love, to share Your grace with every person I meet. In Your mighty and powerful Name, Amen.
