God Sings Over Us Like a Loving Parent - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. – Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV)

Please Pray:

Lord, I’m sorry when I look to all the wrong places for comfort when all I need is You. Thank you for saving me, delighting in me, and singing over me with Your perfect love. I will come to you when I am hurt, feel scared, or unwell when I’m sad or upset. I love you, Abba, Father God. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

      Sometimes Healing Takes Time

I like instant. I like brewed coffee in a minute or less. I like microwaved leftovers in 45 seconds or less. I like instant text, instant on-line shopping, and instant movies at the click of a button. I’m not a fan of process but would rather have immediate results. One of my favorite words in the New Testament is “immediately.” “Immediately they received their sight” (Matthew 20:34). Read more...
