How To Know How Hard It Is To Live Life? - Raising Zion
To know how hard it is to live this life, we need to know the truth about this life. God spoke life through His word into the earth. God’s word is life.
What does God say about His word?
He says His words are not heavy, they are light. They aren’t burdensome.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. (1 John 5:3)
Jesus said to take His yoke because His burden is light. His burden is the cross we need to carry, the gospel of Christ.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:29,30)
Worrying makes it difficult for us to understand how hard it is to live, or easy it is!
When God speaks, we need to trust Him to fulfil His word in us. By not worrying about your current situation, fearing or doubting His word. Worry is the biggest issue with this life. Overcome only by exercising the salvation we have in Christ. What does God say about worrying?
And who of you by worrying can add one hour to [the length of] his life? (Matthew 6:27)
Now, to do His words, we need a new heart and mind and strength. This too, the lord will do for us.
“And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants [that is, He will remove the desire to sin from your heart], so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul, so that you may live [as a recipient of His blessing]. (Deuteronomy 30:6).
Jesus said He is the truth, way and life (John 14:6). Jesus does not want us to bear heavy burdens, in fact He wants us to receive His rest. To receive from God, we need to let go of all the things we are holding onto that hinder our walk with Him. Living this life is impossible without Jesus. With Him, life is not hard. But, to experience true freedom in this life, we need to learn to fully depend on Jesus alone.
Preach the word to one and all. Listen to what the Holy Spirit is speaking into you from His word. Jesus is coming soon, praise God and amen.
